You Just Had to Hire Him

In addition to the many questions Lewiston parents should have at the moment, I have a few to offer:

When Lewiston Public Schools hires someone to work with our children who

a) left their last position two months into the school year
b) is applying for an ed tech position in arguably one of the most difficult schools in the state after being an assistant principal in a southern Maine coastal district
c) threatened to sue the Lewiston school district the last time he worked there (2003-2005)
d) seems to move from district to district rather frequently…

What exactly did you ask him
and were his answers so stellar
that you just had to hire him?

Did you not know
that these are what we’d call
red flags?

Did you not care?

Did you just need someone (anyone) to fill that role and whoops, you chose the wrong someone (anyone)?

And at what fucking point will the School Committee
acknowledge their role here?
